Product Catalog Management

Default Catalog

Set a default Catalog and change from one catalog to the other more easily.

Guided Selling Enhancements

You can now control the visibility of guided selling the product list page

Enhanced Attributes Support

Support went from 15 (did not know that) up to 200

Quote Visibility is back

“Use the Quote Visibility dropdown to control whether the child product appears in Transaction Line Editor, quote documents, both, or neither.”

Highly requested feature, glad it’s back, now do Opportunity Products Sync

Auto-Renewals

Products can be set to auto-renew automatically by default. The feature can be overridden at the Order level.

Salesforce Pricing

Include Assets for Volume/tier pricing

It’s here, you can now include quantities from the quote and from past orders to identify the tier of discount to apply.

How-to: Select Use cumulative pricing in the Tier and Volume Discount elements.

Discount Distribution Service

Discount from the discount distribution service will now show up in the price waterfall view.

Pricing Procedure Simulation

This was previously very hard to use as you had to manually input values to simulate your pricing procedure. You will now be able to pass in line items from specific quotes or orders to simulate your pricing procedure.

This will be very helpful for testing.

Product Configurator

Advanced Configurator

The Advanced Configurator is Salesforce Revenue Cloud’s next‑generation configuration engine, designed to handle the intricate, high‑volume product scenarios that outgrow the standard rule‑based configurator. It pairs a hyper‑scalable solver running on Hyperforce with an object‑oriented Constraint Modeling Language (CML) and a point‑and‑click admin UI, giving both developers and business admins the power to model complex product logic fast.

Key things to know

  • Generally Available Summer ’25 (release 256)
Advanced will ship as the default configurator for new orgs; existing customers can still run Standard, but all innovation moves to Advanced.
  • Constraint‑first, two‑way logic
One declarative constraint can replace multiple single‑direction IF/THEN rules, automatically enforcing dependencies both forward and reverse.
  • Hyper‑scale performance
Goal‑search solver delivers sub‑second responses on quotes with up to 10 000 line items, thanks to a stateless architecture that scales horizontally on Hyperforce.
  • Rich rule palette out of the box
Basic & conditional constraints, Require / Exclude, Preference, Message (Info, Warning, Error), UI hide/disable, table constraints, quantity rules, cross‑bundle and transaction‑scope logic.
  • Business‑friendly Admin UI
Import products or bundles from PCM, auto‑generate attributes/relations, and build constraints with visual templates—no code required, though CML is always available for power users.
  • Extensible CML for advanced scenarios
Object‑oriented types, inheritance, lambda expressions, math & string functions, aggregates, and even optimisation goals—everything you’d expect from a modern constraint language.
  • Future‑proof roadmap
Standard Configurator enters maintenance mode in 256; migration tooling and debug logs are included to help customers transition at their own pace.

Transaction Management

Agentforce Quoting

I’ve been using Agentforce around quotes for a while but the official skill is now coming out.

Contract Pricing Schedule

A new component to create contracted pricing tiers without jumping through multiple pages.

Increased Amendment Limit

There was a limit of 10 Asset Action Source records, this limit has been entirely removed.

Change Orders

Create change orders while an order is being processed through Dynamic Revenue Orchestrator to change quantities or add products.

Adjust Start Dates for Subscription Assets

Change the start date for an asset after it’s creation. You might be in a position where you need to activate an order before knowing when the start date should be.

You can now create an amendment to update the start date of your asset.

Apply Uplifts on Renewals

This new feature will allow you to negotiate and mark an uplift value on quote line items or order line items and this value will track down to assets for renewals.

Cloning Quote Line Items and Quote line Groups

You will now have access to new actions that will allow you to deep clone quote line items and quote line groups. No sign of quote cloning yet.

Apex Hooks in Pricing Procedures

You will now be able to create apex prehook and apex posthook that run before or after your pricing procedure.

This will allow you to handle complex pricing more easily and access attribute values for pricing (finally!)

Smart Approvals

Smart approvals are back. Automatically re-approval requests that had already been approved.

Dynamic Revenue Orchestrator

Fulfillment plans from any object

Fulfilment Plans can now be created from additional standard objects (Quotes, Incidents, Cases, Service Requests and custom objects)

I’m a DRO fan and looking forward to leveraging it across different types of objects.

Billing

General Usability improvements

Multiple improvements through navigation and user interface

  • Billing Operations Console
  • Dedicated Billing App
  • New Interface for milestone creation

Billing Profiles

Billing profiles for customers to track preferred billing day of the month, billing address and additional billing details.

Preview Invoices from the interface

New button to preview invoices and generate PDF documents of the preview from Account, order or Billing Schedule Group.

Salesforce Payments Integration

Billing is now integrated to Salesforce Payments to allow for payments to be applied to Invoice or Invoice Lines.

Collections

A new collections feature that will allow you to create Collection Plan and plan items. Send automated dunning emails with balance details.

It does say you need a Marketing Cloud Growth license …
