It includes creating opportunities, drafting quotes, processing orders, and managing invoices. Leveraging Agentforce with Revenue Cloud

Agentforce is Salesforce’s autonomous AI application designed to provide specialized, always-on support to employees and customers. When integrated with Revenue Cloud, Agentforce can automate various stages of the quote-to-cash process, enhancing efficiency and accuracy.

Practical Application: A Step-by-Step Guide

Consider a scenario where a company, “Figure AI,” is ready to market its humanoid robots and has secured Walmart as a client. Here’s how Agentforce and Revenue Cloud can facilitate the quote-to-cash process:

1. Creating a Quote and Opportunity:

• Agentforce can be prompted to create a quote and an opportunity for Walmart’s purchase of two humanoid robots.

• The AI processes this request, utilizing available actions within Revenue Cloud, such as searching products and creating quotes through APIs or Apex, depending on the scenario.

• Upon completion, Agentforce provides a link to the newly created quote.

2. Modifying the Quote:

• Users can adjust the quote as needed, either through Agentforce or directly via the interface.

• For instance, applying a discount or changing the quantity will update the pricing accordingly.

3. Generating a Quote Document:

• Agentforce can generate a document for the quote using OmniStudio Document Generation.

• This process is asynchronous, and upon completion, the generated document is available in the related list of the quote record.

4. Creating and Activating the Order:

• Once the customer approves the quote, Agentforce can create an order from the quote using invocable actions available in Revenue Cloud.

• After order creation, Agentforce can activate the order by updating its status.

5. Submitting the Order for Fulfillment:

• Agentforce can submit the activated order for fulfillment in the Dynamic Revenue Orchestrator, initiating any necessary fulfillment processes.

6. Previewing and Creating Invoices:

• Before generating invoices, Agentforce can call the Invoice Preview API to display upcoming invoices, providing details such as total amount, unit price, and quantity.

• Once confirmed, Agentforce can create the invoice, which can be set as a draft or posted immediately.

7. Posting and Voiding Invoices:

• Agentforce can post the invoice through an asynchronous process.

• If errors are identified post-issuance, Agentforce can also void the invoice by calling the appropriate API endpoint.
