How We Deliver Revenue Cloud Projects

Flat-rate delivery pods. No hourly billing. No change orders. Maximum delivery.

The Problem with Traditional Projects

Most Revenue Cloud implementations are sold as fixed-price projects or billed by the hour. Both models create problems.

Inaccurate Estimates

Up-front timelines and hour estimates are almost always wrong. Fixed-price scopes force you to pay for overruns or accept reduced scope.

Change Order Friction

Every new idea or shift in priority triggers a change order. Paperwork replaces progress. Mistrust builds between you and your SI.

Meetings Over Delivery

Traditional projects burn hours on status calls, steering committees, and reporting. Time you’re paying for goes to meetings instead of working software.

The Revenue Cloud Pod Model

Instead of selling hours or fixed-price projects, we deliver Revenue Cloud work through dedicated Delivery Pods on a flat monthly subscription.

💰

Flat Monthly Fee

One predictable monthly price per Pod. No timesheets, no hourly billing, no surprise invoices.

📋

Backlog-Driven

You own a prioritized backlog. Each month, your Pod works on whatever matters most to your business right now.

💬

Mostly Async

Meetings capped at 2 hours per week. We communicate through written updates, recorded demos, and your project tool.

What’s in a Pod?

A Pod is a cross-functional mini-team dedicated to your Revenue Cloud work. Not a generic pool of resources—a specialized team that knows your system.

Revenue Cloud Architect

Leads solution design, architecture decisions, and ensures best practices across your entire quote-to-cash process.

Configuration Consultant

Handles products, bundles, pricing rules, pricing procedures, context definitions, flows, and all declarative Revenue Cloud configuration.

Developer

Builds Apex, LWC, integrations, and automations. Connects Revenue Cloud to your ERP, billing systems, and external platforms.

How a Monthly Cycle Works

Every month follows the same rhythm. No surprises, no scope creep debates—just steady delivery of your highest-priority items.

1

Plan

You and your Pod agree on which backlog items to tackle this month, based on Pod capacity.

2

Execute

The Pod builds, configures, tests, and documents. Communication is mostly async—written updates and comments in your project tool.

3

Review & Demo

Recorded demos and short live sessions. Your Product Owner reviews and accepts completed items. No marathon status meetings.

4

Reprioritize

Refresh the backlog. Shift priorities as your business evolves. Pick the next set of high-value items for the coming month.

Engagement Options

Start where it makes sense and evolve over time. Most clients follow the path: Advisory Sprint → Build Pod → Run & Optimize.

Start Here

Advisory Sprint

Short-term, architecture-focused engagement. We run discovery, design your solution, define your MVP, and create the prioritized backlog your Build Pod will execute against.

Duration: Typically 1 month
Output: Blueprint + backlog + MVP definition
Best for: New implementations, major changes, or getting a second opinion on your current setup

Most Popular

Build Pod

A full dedicated Pod focused on building and delivering your Revenue Cloud MVP or major enhancement. Monthly cycles of plan, build, demo, and reprioritize.

Duration: 3-month minimum
Team: Architect + Config Consultant + Developer
Best for: New Revenue Cloud implementations, major new scenarios, product launches

Accelerated

Build Pod Plus

Increased capacity with 1.5 to 2 Pods for faster delivery or multiple parallel workstreams. Same model, more throughput.

Duration: 3-month minimum
Team: Multiple parallel streams
Best for: Tight timelines, complex multi-workstream implementations, enterprise rollouts

Ongoing

Run & Optimize

A lighter, ongoing fractional Pod for post-go-live. Continuous enhancements, optimization, new scenarios, and support for your internal team.

Duration: 3-month minimum, then rolling month-to-month
Team: Fractional Pod capacity
Best for: Post-go-live optimization, ongoing enhancements, team enablement

Your Role in the Pod Model

The Pod model works best when both sides are set up for success. Here’s what we need from you.

Assign a Product Owner

One person who owns the backlog, sets priorities, makes decisions, and accepts completed work. This is the single most important success factor.

Provide Timely Access

Sandbox environments, data, credentials, and system access. Delays on access directly impact what the Pod can deliver that month.

Participate in Reviews

Watch demos, test completed work, and provide feedback within 5–10 business days. Quick feedback keeps the Pod moving forward.

Trust the Process

Fewer meetings means more delivery. After the first month, we calibrate expectations based on real throughput—not guesswork.

Pricing & Predictability

No hourly rates. No timesheets. No surprise invoices at the end of the month.

Each Pod has a flat monthly fee set in your proposal. Different engagement modes (Advisory, Build, Build Plus, Run) have different price points based on the capacity and team composition required.

Invoicing is monthly in advance. Minimum commitments vary by engagement type. No hidden fees, no overage charges, no change orders.

“How many hours do I get?” — You don’t get hours. You get a dedicated Revenue Cloud Pod working from your prioritized backlog. Predictable monthly capacity focused on your highest-value items.
