Product not available in Browse Catalog

You’ve created a new product in Salesforce Revenue Lifecycle Management but it’s not available in the “Browse Catalogs” product selection screen of the transaction line editor on Quotes/Orders.

Here are a couple things you can look for to make sure your product is available for selection :

Spring 25 update

  • if you are setting up Revenue Cloud in a new environment make sure to follow all the steps as outlined here
  • if you are using a pre-configured org you might need to Rebuild the product index
    • Setup → Product Discovery Settings → Use Indexed Data for Product Listing and Search
  • Your product need to have a Pricebook entry within the pricebook you selected for this quote or order
  • Make sure you’ve assigned a Product Selling Model Option to your product
  • On the Product record
    • Active = TRUE
    • Sell only with other products = FALSE
  • Make sure the product is assigned to the Catalog you are selecting in the Browse Catalogs page
  • After creating your product and adding it to the pricing book make sure to Sync Pricing Data
    • Go to Setup
    • Search and Select: Salesforce Pricing Setup
    • Click on “Sync
    • Wait a couple minutes for the process to run and return to the transaction line editor on your Quote/Order

Hopefully that helps you solve the issue, let me know if you have any questions.
